SCCU Family Banking Changes
NOTICE: Designated family members/users with Bill Payer access now have access to all Bill Payer products and checking accounts associated with Bill Payer.
SCCU's recently completed Bill Payer system upgrade has changed access to Family Banking designated users. Designated family members/other users with access to Bill Payer now have access to all bill payment eligible accounts and services within the Bill Payer System (including Bill Payer, External Account Transfers, and Person-to-Person Payments).
Access to the Bill Payer System is an "all or nothing" choice, meaning that any family member with the authority to utilize Bill Payer will be able to make payments of any amount, will be able to see all payers and payees, and can also utilize External Account Transfers and Person-to-Person payments.
Please follow these steps to adjust your settings if you wish to limit access for your designated users:
- Login to Online Banking and click on Family Banking.
- Select "Manage Existing Users"
- Click on Limited Access (no Bill Pay System or Transfer ability). This will remove Bill Pay, Transfer Access (both between SCCU accounts and External Account Transfers), and Person-to-Person access. If this is not done, the family member/designated user will have the ability to make payments of any amount, view all checking accounts, and utilize all products within the Bill Payer System.
