Fraud Protection Plus Letter Scam
SCCU has received notification regarding a fraudulent letter being sent to SCCU members in an attempt to obtain personal information, including date of birth, social security number, and recent address.
This letter claims to be from “Eastern Financial Div of SCCU” and a “Member Service Center” and directs the recipient to return an enclosed “Credit Record Search” form to enroll in a credit monitoring service called “Fraud Protection Plus.”
Please be advised that this letter is NOT from Space Coast Credit Union, nor anyone affiliated with SCCU. SCCU is committed to keeping your accounts and personal information secure and we never sell or share your private information with unaffiliated businesses.
