Redeem Scorecard Rewards® Points for SCCU Loan Rebates

With the SCCU Platinum Visa credit card there is no maximum Scorecard Rewards points accrual limit per year. Whenever you have accumulated enough points according to the chart, you may redeem those points for the associated rebate. There are no "in-between" amounts; the rebate amounts available are $300, $500, $700, $900, $1,250, and $1,500. The maximum rebate for any loan is $1,500. If you have a Smart Shopper rebate balance and convert to a Platinum card, you can still use the amount you earned with Smart Shopper (until it expires) and you will begin earning Scorecard points with your first purchase on your Platinum account.  Remember, with the Platinum card, you earn 1 point for every $1 purchased.

How do I redeem points for a rebate? When you are ready to apply for one of the qualifying loan types call Express Services and tell them what type of loan you want and ask them to apply your SCCU Loan Rebate from your Platinum Visa credit card. They will take care of it from there.

How do I know how many points I have? You can see your point accumulation on www.ScorecardRewards.com and on your SCCU statement. SCCU associates can also access your point totals from Express Services or any branch.

What if a credit card account is joint; such as husband/wife? Points within the same member number and suffix can be combined by letting Express Services know when you apply for a qualifying loan. The points will be combined at that time. If husband and wife have separate cards under separate member numbers, they cannot be combined.

If I have a Smart Shopper rebate balance, and then also earn enough Scorecard points to redeem for a $300 rebate, can I combine the two? Or is it one or the other? Your current unexpired rebate balance and Scorecard rebate amount can be combined up to a maximum rebate of $1,500.

Will there be more SCCU redemptions other than loan rebate in the future? Yes! Stay tuned for more exciting offers to come including Education Donation.
