The mission of Space Coast Credit Union is to create value in cooperative ownership. By leveraging the collective voice of over 225,000 members, and the buying power they represent, SCCU can make a big impact in the community.
To evidence the economic force of our membership, consisting of hundreds of millions of dollars in commerce, we created the SCCU Members' Watchdog. The Watchdog embodies our promise to always watch out for our members' best interests by making sure an SCCU member is never alone in a financial transaction. Members have the backing of the entire membership, and local businesses take notice when they understand the financial implications.
The success of the Watchdog promise is built upon our members sharing their voice. Reviews and ratings allow our members to easily share how well our products and service delivery are meeting their needs, and they are displayed uncensored on SCCU.com. Members are empowered to make informed purchasing decisions, not only about SCCU products, but also regarding local auto dealers. The Watchdog Rating represents a superior standard and carries weight. We intend to expand reviews to include other services and additional merchants.
Your Voice Counts. The next time you receive an SCCU Watchdog Survey, please take a couple of minutes to share your experience. And before you shop for a new car or open another account, go to SCCU.com and read what fellow members have to say!
In addition, you can help spread awareness of the SCCU Members' Watchdog by proudly displaying a Watchdog magnet on your car – available at all SCCU branch locations. If we spot you driving around town with our Watchdog bumper sticker or magnet, you can win $200! The more people see the Watchdog symbol, the more buzz is created with people asking what the symbol is all about. To learn more about the Watchdog Spotter Contest and how you can participate visit SCCU.com/spot or stop by any branch.
Finally, your SCCU Connections newsletter will soon be getting a makeover to reflect the Watchdog image and philosophy. The newsletter will feature informative articles to help protect you in financial transactions, and empower your financial choices. The updated newsletter is just one more way that SCCU is living up to our commitment to be your financial advocate and differentiate the value proposition of SCCU membership.
